Guy gets Girl Engagement card

Happy Sunday ! Hope your all having a Wonderful Day!
Today I have another Engagement card this is an 8x5 card  .
I love these stamp and use them for so many cards, One is  called Iguanna Love from Stampendous and the other is Birch Buddies from Stampendous.
I first stamped my trees one on each side of my paper then stamped in my Iguana then the little grass , hearts and the little owl looking down , I used my cricut pretty pennant cartridge for the top and bottom of my card , For the inside I stamped my trees, owl and grass again and this time put the Iguanna stamp with the happy couple kissing I then added a banner using again Pretty pennant cartridge and cut some letters saying Congrats.

Love is in the Air
See you later with an Anniversary card .

Engagement card

Good Morning Blog land, such a wonderful day!!!
Today I want to share with you an Engagement card I made for someone very special.
I used Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background, spellbinder's for my cut out and used pop dots make it stand out, this cute owl stamp I've had for years from stampendous , some white ribbon from my stash ( if you hate when you cut your ribbon and it frays check out "fray check" from Joann's it is awesome and makes your ribbon so clean.) I then added a double hung heart from my stash with some wire . for the inside I embossed the same color as my background and wrote a wish for the Happy Couple.

Hope you all have a Wonderful Day filled with Sunshine , Smiles and Love

COF May Flowers

Hi There blog family!

Today is the last day of the Month and that means COF are here to show off their May Challenge from our good friend Patti!!!

Thanks Patti, for a great story and Challenge!
Our May Challenge was from Patti"Ok I got it! When my kids were little they made May flower baskets. They would hang them on a couple of the elderly neighbor's doors, knock and run! It was so much fun! So I want to see May flowers in baskets... either stamped or 3D which ever you want! I can't wait to see what you come up with! {{{Hugs}}}"

I didn't have a basket but I found a watering can full of flowers and since I can't put it on a neighbors door and run I made it for an elderly lady and mailed it to her hope it brightens her day.

My stamp I think is from Hero arts ( I brought 600 stamps off ebay when someone was closing their doors years ago so I don't remember for sure) my words are from House mouse, embossing folder from cuttlebug, paper from my scrap-box , buttons have been calling me for weeks so I promised them a place, ribbon from Joann's.

Hope you all had a wonderful May and our looking forward to a summer full of fun

Spring is coming !

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Today I'm posting a picture of  signs I made for our Church Plant sale.

I used Walk in my Garden & Plantin SchoolBook for the letters and the grass.

Do you ever start something and it takes on a life of its own? well thats what happened here, I was looking for a wheelbarrow one day and was on the joanns web site and came across this cricut cartridge now I'm new to the cricut and wasn't sure I wanted to spend the money on the cartridge just for a wheelbarrow but it was on sale on line for 29.00 so I decided to go look around well it wasn't on sale in the store but learned that if I could bring the ad up on my phone they will price match plus I had a 10.00 off coupon that the lady used so it was only 19.00 Yeah ! and did I get my money's worth.

One of the things I really like about this sign is that next year you just have to remove the date and the paper with the potting party dates on it and slide a new date year after year in to the clear sleeves ( my son gets these comic books that come in these great sleeves along with cardbord that I have found many many uses for) another fun thing are my flower pots I cut two 5 inch pots for each sign and made a box to hold the information sheets ( the flower pots are held on with Velcro so they can come off for easy storage) I used Spellbinders  Curved Rectangles for the information sheets to look like seed packets. I put styrofoam in the bottoms  of each flower pot and glued brown paper on top to make it look like dirt so my information sheets would pop out the top.

I had so much fun making 2 of these signs even though my family thought I was Crazy :) even after I cut and glued everything it still took me 6 1/2 hours to put each sign together I spent over 30 hours making these but it was so Worth it!! :)

Thanks for looking,

Hugs to all

Crafters of Faith

I'm Late I'm Late for a very important Date!

Morning bloggers, What a busy busy last few weeks here, I've been busy with handing out food and clothing at our church for the Tornado victims in our town that touched down March 15th , I love our little town you can feel the love as soon as you enter.

For the month of March our hostess Carolina from crafters of Faith  wanted us to make a card using a "lighthouse", "two pieces of paper" and some" Bling" I used this teal design paper and put it on some purple ,once I put the Bling on it kind of hides it ,opps and then I used some bling that has a hint of blue in them along the sides and around my light house which is Thomas Kinkade The Light of Peace" I then cut a frame using a spellbinder die and adding bling around it, I also used a Spellbinder die for my cross, I cut the first layer with gold metal and then the top layers is white paper added a pearl in the middle then added some flowers in the corner with some more pearls . On the inside I wrote " A reassuring presence A Light when times are dark, A hand reaching out, Is what Friendship is about  "
I like how it turned out and can't wait to mail it to one of my Friends.

Thanks for looking and I'll be back real soon.
